Becasue it isn't a "condition" that needs "curing" any more than someone who is revolted by the though of putting sugar in their coffee. Therapy might be necessary for people having difficulty dealing with gender dysphoria, but the answer isn't to "cure" them.

Does it mske people feel good to know that there is always someone out there that is even weirder than they are?

Since you're at the extreme end of that spectrum, It might make you feel better about yourself knowing that you make tons of people feel better about themselves just by looking at you ("It could be worse, I could be _that_ guy").

 I do NOT believe that this is a psychiatric condition because they have no interest in seeking psychiatric help.
