I was in a museum on Friday that had a display of a World War II Harley Davidson motorcycle. I quipped "To be realistic, the display should show a trail of parts that fell off as it rolled. Harleys were famous for that."
I suspect Tom's bikes are similar.
(One of my best music friends is known for leaving a trail of guitar/mandolin picks behind her wherever she plays.)
