 Apples and oranges with a topping of baloney.  For 2024, New York,
Massachusetts and Washington state had higher GDP (gross domestic
product) numbers than California:

Using the World Bank numbers, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg,
Bermuda, Ireland, Switzerland, Cayman Islands, Isle of Man, Norway and
Singapore all had higher GDP numbers than USA.
 That was a good example of why we don't compare apples and oranges.
 

And a good example of why we never take tommy's word for anything.
