I've been riding across intersections on the ped crosswalks under the
walk light for years. I know it's perfectly legal in Florida but I've
done it in Illinois, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Ohio with no
repercussions. Maybe I just never got caught.

Probably low on things police are interested in, the quote by the uk police
about illegal e bikes is the “riders tend to advertise themselves to us!”
Ie they check after they have pulled some dumb shit in front of them!
