As to medications, most of the medicine I prescribed was made
in India, or even Brazil. The one I take (chlortalidone) is made in
Spain.
American-made is far too expensive. At least 10x the price.

My Chlortalidone 25mg costs US$ 5 a box of 60. American made
Thalidone(TM) costs US$ 92 for the same amount.

Brazil's Anvisa tests all imported drugs. So I know they are
safe. I don't know if the American equivalent can be trusted,
