far higher speeds than someone with your age and riding skills could be
expected under the best conditions to accomplish.

 
Gee, that's funny, because most of my riding partners show just as good
as, if not better numbers than I do on virtual rides. I'm not any better
than anyone I ride with, and even in the virtual races I don't win
against other riders in my age group. I do well, I'm far from DFL, but I
don't win.

That’s what I saw when I compared you times with some of the folks I
follow/Know.

Zwift seems particularly for amateurs quite a game changer for training.

It’s very much not my thing I ride for enjoyment the fitness that it is
just a by product, most of my riding buddies are by some margin fitter
though as this is often Gravel my MTB background means this isn’t a issue
unless there is a fast road section.

that I'm claiming I'm doing anything spectacular or out of the ordinary
for "some one with my age and riding skills". I've never claimed that.
