So who knows what tommy was taking. If he though he was taking
Carbamazepine from Abbott, it's obvious they're giving him some kind of
placebo. Tommy strikes me as a particularly whiny patient that a doctor
would give unmarked generic aspirin and tell him it was some exotic new
drug just to shut him up.

lol...the reagent is the chemical used to detect the presence of carbamazepine. Just like Abbot makes insulin monitors but not insulin, Abbott makes carbamazepine monitors but not carbamazepine.
Carbamazepine reagent is _not_ carbamazepine.
