One to mull about perhaps!
I don't see enough details to judge.
I suspect its value will be limited to those klutzy enough to not know how to shift at all.
For myself, there are times I want a lower gear at higher cadence, times I want a higher gear at a low cadence, and everything in between, based on many factors including my view of the terrain just ahead. I doubt any automatic system is going to be able to deliver what I want.
But I'm an admitted retrogrouch.
