I've seen 28 HP claimed, over 4x stock.
The limit on the HF 212 on my sawmill is blade tension which is only about 60% of the suggested value because it's already half again the motorcycle wheel and tire load rating. Tension keeps the blade from twisting from cutting pressure and rising or falling in the cut. 6.5HP is enough for a 20" cut in oak until the blade dulls a bit, then I file it with a roller guide I made.
