I kinda had a plan. I was going to use LiFePo batteries instead of
lithium Ion because they are safer.
----------------------------
LiFePO4 has a higher internal resistance and lower maximum current capacity than Li-ion or lead batteries.

It's not dual purpose like a lead acid marine battery.
The internal BMS, the protection circuit, limits the current from one battery and also the total current and voltage from a pack of several batteries in series and parallel.
For LiFePO4 the current limit is typically the Amp-hour rating or a small multiple of it, while Li-ion cells and batteries are available with maximum current ratings of 50 or more times the Amp-hour capacity.
