Using logic without compassion, allowing people with genetic disability
to reach breeding age, by means of drugs, weakens humanity genetically.
If one needs drugs to survive, that will all go away with the first nuke.
Covid came close to denying needed drugs by crashing transportation.
Covid really opened my eyes as to how fragile our society is. Let's be
nice to farmers. They allow us to survive.

I'm not cold-blooded. I'm just stating a fact.
This is a very interesting philosophical question that is ultimately based in values.
Should be strive to breed robust, intelligent human beings with ever increasing abilities? Should we strive, as the human race, to "be all you can be"?
Or should every human life be saved, every human being, no matter the cost? Should all our resources go into saving every human being, to the exclusion of everything else?
Add to that, what is "best"? We no longer live on the savannah? Should we perhaps breed ourselves into brains?
After all, technology is the ultimate tool, and with it, we have disconnected ourselves from the whims of nature and are starting to take greater and greater control over our own destiny.
Interesting questions, and sadly impossible to discuss in a rational way with woke people most of the time.
And for the compassionate out there, let me also throw in the classic from Louie CK, you drive air conditioned cars and live in big houses. Imagine all the african and danish children you could save by selling your car and moving to a one room apartment. You could save 100s if not 1000s of children, yet, you choose to remain in your house and drive your big car. ;)
