A woman that works in the building where I do (she's in her 70's) tripped and fell over a case of bottled water a friend had left outside her front door.  The friend didn't tell her it was there.  She fell flat on her face, broke her nose and had to have stitches on her chin and cheek.  Here's an idea: if you're going to leave a big box outside someone's front door, how about you tell them it is there?
