We dodged a bullet yesterday when they were calling for 6-8 inches of
snow but it turned out to be only about two inches. I didn't really need
to shovel out parking area but it took only a few minutes. It was
another matter today. We were supposed to get another 6-8 inches and
they were pretty much on the mark. Had it been cooler and the snow
flakier we likely would have got that 8 inches, but for a couple hours
it was more like a frozen mist so there was less accumulation but what
fell was dense and heavy to push and lift.

I went out to the barn to get my snow blower and the damned thing would
not start.

Do you use something like Sta-bil in the gas tank??
We've had close to 6 inches of rain over the last 4 or
5 days and my sump pump in the basement was pumping
constantly starting Saturday night. It has finally
slowed down to about every 5-10 minutes but still
sounds like a dying cow down there. Lots of flooding
in several of the surrounding counties.
Cloudy, cold, and windy here.
