I now have to be very careful with any scented products and all sorts

just a wierd thing to have happen. Under control now but still there
and once woken, the allergy never really goes away.
Scented products are hard on me, also. There are few I can use. Most laundry soaps and scents are a no-go. The only soap that's worked well for me is a budged Mexican brand of powder soap, called "Foca". It comes in a blue bag with a baby seal on it. Our water is soft, so a little bit of soap goes a long way.
Funny, raw meats don't bother my hands, but potatoes are the *worse*. My hands are so painfully itchy after dicing up potatoes if I'm not rather careful.
I also have eczema, and I can't tolerate any kind of hand sanitizer. Sometimes I really had to fight people off pushing sanitizer during COVID. No, I'm not going to trash my already painful skin by applying alcohol to it multiple times daily.

Do you have a problem wearing rubber dish washing gloves?
I don't wear rubber gloves, I find them clunky and difficult to work in. Either way, I don't put bleach in my dishwater, so it's not an issue for me. I only use a little bit of Dawn soap, which is one of the only things I won't buy off-brand. It's easy on the skin and, and apparently the baby ducks too, heh.
