This was my experience with "Day of the Triffids".
BTW, at my local Costco, they use a particular model
based on tubular steel for all the light posts which
have engineering parameters that make them extremely
succeptable to 'vortext shedding' at the primary normal
mode lateral oscillation frequency.
Thus, whenever there is a brisk wind, I always find
the parking lot extrememly 'spooky' because it really
does seem like they are talking to each other.
