I concur. I deem it in good taste only on cakes
& gooey pastries of other 'tart' fruits, like
cranberry, sour cherry, or other citrus.
My wife is the same way; we never even buy the
unfrosted 'lemon' pound cakes, which always seem
to contain poppy seeds which cannot be tasted
and only serve to make people fail opioid tests.
