I e-mailed her the other day, she's not feeling great since her hospital
stay, and doesn't have any cooking to share, but she's OK and recovering.

 
Yes, you emailed me, Michael, thanks.  I was not admitted to the
hospital.  I went to the ER and spent about 5 hours there getting IV
antibiotics and a CT scan to confirm gut inflammation due to
diverticulitis.  I took the week off from work, taking oral antibiotics
and resting.  Nothing interesting to report about food or cooking.
