I thought the Cooking group was for recipes whether they are copied
and pasted or tried and true. This one looked tasty to me and will
eventually bake it. Nitwits love to bake and cook

This is a response to the post seen at:

No nitwit, we'd much prefer you posted something you've
actually made and can testify to its' taste and perhaps
difficultly in making. Any half-brain can copy and post
an untried recipe and claim it "looked tasty to me."
Not to mention the link to jlaforums, which is a click-bait advertising site.
Jill
What is click-bate about it? There is a full recipe in her posts. Did Chunk Mummy show up to your lean-to Jill and make you click the link or are you just so miserable in your existence that you feel the need to complain about everything? I bet your cats even hate you, don't they Jill?
As far as I know, the only reason anyone would want to click their links is to either see the picture or attachment or the original post that Chunky is responding to. Remember not all NNTP servers have long retention periods.
I know several of us have posted links to photos or articles accompanying our posts since this group doesn't support binaries. As far as I see it, that is no different except the JLA links that I see going back nearly two decades appear not to be suffering from link rot. Not as much can be said about many image hosting services or other various sites we have all linked to in the past.
