What is appearing on your table on this last Friday night
of May 2025? Eating out or eating in?

Damn if a fried bologna sandwich doesn't sound tempting,
but no bologna in the house. So it's going to be homemade
tomato soup here made with roasted tomatoes. Maybe a
grilled cheese sandwich but at the moment maybe not.

I'm having a pasta concoction my wife brought in from somewhere, so it
will be a surprise of some sort.

It will probably be something really good. Be sure and post
back what you had and if you liked it or not.

I've had MANY fried baloney sandwiches, most of which I made myself.
Some of them were pretty damn good too. Sometimes with a slice of
cheese, and even tomato. Plenty of black pepper and a dash or two of
mild hot sauce. I like a good toasted whole grain bread for these.

I've also seen them with a slice of onion, too. I guess I'm
just a purist. 😆

I guess I should be ashamed, but by god, I'm not. I wish I had one now,
instead of the pasta stuff.

All this talk of fried bologna sandwiches makes me wish I'd
picked up a package while at the grocery store earlier today.
But if I happen to go on a shopping trip later this week,
I'll pick up a package then and hope to snag the thick
sliced variety. All beef or all pork, none of that chicken
bologna for me.
