I saw Hanoi Jane when I was a freshman at Western Illinois University in
autumn of 1972...
She spoke to the crowd and was very MESMERIZING... she was raging
against Nixon and the Vietnam War...
She is now 87, looks like 50...
Despite her politics I like her, her first movie was in 1960 (Tall
Story), and my fave flick of hers is "Sunday In New York",  1964:
"In 2019, when asked if she disliked any of her films, Fonda commented
that she was "surprised how many people say they love Sunday in New
York. Why?"

faith, as though one more glossy, glittering package of pseudo sex might

Jane Fonda agreed to star in the film for a fee of $100,000 (equivalent
to $1,027,000 in 2024)....
She later described her character as "an absolute bore", adding, "She
talks so much about her virginity; and you know the more she talks about
it, the more it's on her mind. I mean, for God's sake, let her make her
mind up one way or the other—and stop all that talking..."
