Park was fairly empty with just a few joggers, maybe 5 or 6 and
about 10 cyclists with some on e-bikes like me, one on a skate
board and one on a hoverboard. The guy on the hoverboard was
flying along, much faster than me pedaling at about 15 mph.
First thing that crossed my mind was that I would have already
mopped up the pavement with my face if I'd been on it.

A few of the e-bikes I did not recognize the names and one
couple passed me in the opposite direction riding the fat
tire models. They're rather noisy because of the tires
and neither was doing any pedaling, so those batteries won't
last long on that ride.

My battery began to flash like a warning traffic signal at
2:00 a.m. and I knew I needed to head home fairly quickly.
I dialed the pedal assist back to one and geared down
fairly low. But my thigh muscles were really screaming
and I made it home just in time because when I turned it
off and back on my battery was not registering at all.

That's the exciting goings on here. Everybody can sit
back from the edge of their seats now. 😄
"Fatbikes" are a big thing in the Netherlands at the moment. I'm not
familiar with them. Are they e-bikes with thick wheels? What's the
advantage over a normal e-bike? They're often causing accidents.
