The 1st two resembled hydrodynamic solitons. I assume

The 'wendago' I'm pretty sure(?) was just an encounter
with 'bigfoot'. Occam says was natual; simply the
remnants of a branch of early hominids. They exist
everywhere in the world that we have not invaded.
What I'm guessing is that they are just as intelligent as
us, lacking only technology. They seem to be carnivorous,
and H. Sapiens are on the menu.
