And I'll forestall Bruce. In addition to being a preservative,
"Calcium disodium edta, also known as edetate calcium disodium, is a
medication used to treat lead poisoning, hypercalcemia, and digoxin

The natural flavors are probably something garlic-adjacent.

I've got a bottle of Kewpie in the fridge, but it's too eggy for most
uses (for me):

i don't really like plastic, but the world has taken to
using a lot of it including items that come in contact
with foods. i think that is a much worse thing than a
once in a while ingredient (nearly constant and frequent vs.
perhaps once a week).

and then the obvious point, manufacturers can hide quite
a bit under "natural flavors".
My biggest disagreement with Miracle Whip is that it's too
goddamned sweet.
It's funny. Where I shop, Hellman's is $6.39; Miracle Whip
is $5.79; Meijer (store) brand mayo is $3.75.
Miracle Whip is mostly water and costs nearly as much as Hellman's.
Meijer Brand is nearly indistinguishable from Hellman's.
Guess which one I buy?
