A lot more of restaurants have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options
so there will be something on the menu for people with restrictive
diets. That might be good for one or two visits but it must be
frustrating for them to have such limited choices.  There is one local
place we especially like that has a very eclectic menu with
international flavours. It has some Thai, Mexican, Indian, Japanese and
Korean dishes They have one or two gluten free and vegan dishes. There
is a world of variety for me and other people on regular diets so I can
have something different every time I go, but if you are vegan or
glucose intolerant you are stuck with the same limited choices every
time you go.

Well, you live in Armpit, Ontario.  Vegans, vegetarians, and celiacs
do quite well in cities.

We have at least one restaurant that is exclusively vegan, others
that are exclusively vegetarian, and many more with multiple
vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu.
