Of course, people who complain about spending a buck on two eggs
will spend around $7 on a Big Mac.

A few days ago, I bought dinner at McDonalds for the first time in
several months. I bought 1 Big Mac, 1 Quarter Pounder with Cheese,
1 Filet 'O Fish, 2 medium orders of fries and 2 medium mango-pineapple
smoothies. It cost me over thirty-seven bucks.
That's pretty expensive for two meals. I don't think that I can afford
to eat out anymore. Home cookin' rulz!
That's pretty expensive for two meals of utter crap. I'm happy
to pay for real food.
We went to our local Turkish restaurant a few days ago. It was
about $25/plate for lunch. He had a sort of lamb ragu over
roasted eggplant puree. I had cauliflower and lamb stew. Each
came with soup or salad and a choice of rice and orzo pilaf,
bulgur pilaf (vegan) or rice pilaf (gluten free).
