Never heard of WhistlePig. About a week ago my friend said she was sipping some WhistleaPig bourbon. She has a more sophisticated palette that me so I figured it was good stuff.
Had to go to our local liquor store today so I checked it out. Not only did they have the bourbon, but 7 varieties of the Rye whisky too. I just bought the bourbon and just had a sip. OK, maybe a couple of sips.
Our local liquor store is quite a treat to visit. First impression, this place looks a bit dumpy. Do I really want to go here? Then you look around and see what they have to offer. Amazing. Just gin alone, I counted over 50 brands and varieties. Too many to count on other types.
