I am glad that you kept on the topic of food by referring to the banana
spider  ;-)
They are known to be found in bunches of bananas (then again, so are tarantulas).

That thing looks huge. I realize it depends on the distance from the camera and the type of lens, but given the depth of field there, it look looks huge.
 
Yes, they get big.  They're pretty, too!
