You guess. When the Chromebooks came out they were less than $200. It
was an offer I couldn't refuse. These days you can get one for around
$200 to $300. I suppose you could say the price has stayed the same
since they first came out in 2011. I could get a cheap Windows computer
for under $300 but the performance is going to be horrible.
The problems would start with the fact that you'd only have 4 GB
memory.
I have 4 GB on my Linux box, but I don't do anything that requires
much horsepower.
multiple pages, work software and a lot more. I have 32 GB RAM.
