Joe Scarborough visibly shocked after finding out what the price of
butter is: âIs it wrapped in gold?â
https://nypost.com/2024/11/07/media/joe-scarborough-visibly-shocked-after-finding-out-what-the-price-of-butter-is/ "MSNBCâs liberal âMorning Joeâ host Joe Scarborough was visibly shocked
when his wife and co-host Mika Brzezinski revealed how high the cost of
butter has gotten in the last four years.
âA few weeks ago⦠somebody who was going to be voting for Kamala Harris
came up to me and said âoh my God, Trumpâs going to win⦠I go to the
grocery store butter is over $3â the former Florida congressman said.
âI kinda laughed and I said well thatâs kinda reductive isnât it, I said
it to myself,â Scarborough continued.
Itâs $7⦠Iâm just saying itâs 7,â Brzezinski interrupted.
âButter is $7⦠What, is it framed in gold?â Scarborough replied
incredulously, with a look of shock on his face.
âItâs seven bucksâ¦. it depends where you go,â Brzezinski stated
somberly.
A chart displaying NBC exit poll data then appeared on screen, showing
that 46% of Americans feel that their economic situation is worse than
it was four years ago â as Scarborough continued to lament the countryâs
struggle with inflation.
âIf you look at the cost of groceries, if you look at the cost of gas,
if you look at the cost of things compared to four years ago it was a
very simple answer for working class Americans,â Scarborough conceded.
Last week, however, the left-leaning anchor was singing a different
tune.
âThe next president inherits a remarkable economy,â he said, reading
from the front page of an article in the Wall Street Journal on Oct. 31.
Scarborough also went viral back in March for downplaying President
Bidenâs mixups of foreign dignitaries and other verbal stumbles â
declaring instead that he was âintellectually, analytically ⦠the best
Biden ever.â
Iâve spent a couple of hours with Joe Biden, sitting, talking,â
Scarborough said on âMorning Joeâ on March 6, adding that the two spoke
about the economy and inflation.
âIâve said it for years now: heâs cogent. But I undersold him when I
said he was cogent,â he added.
âHeâs far beyond cogent. In fact, I think heâs better than heâs ever
been intellectually, analytically.â
As inflation reached a 40-year high in 2022, Scarborough was also
calling for hundreds of billions of dollars more in federal spending.
Real wages were also down for much of Bidenâs tenure â and have only
recently begun to creep back up.
âUnder Biden, because of the high inflation, real wages have declined
from where they were when he started,â said billionaire hedge fund
manager John Paulson on Fox News in September.
âThatâs why so many middle[-class] Americans are having so many
difficulties with common expenses like rent and food.â
Prices rose roughly 20% for most consumer goods since January 2021,
according to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics report..."

Not to worry. In a little over 3 months butter (and a lot of other shit) will be almost free. And NO MORE TAXES!
