I guess I am not the only one wondering about that. I am in Canada not the US, not that it really matters much. It is the same basic market. I googles cast iron frying pans and did come across one ad for a three pan set of cast iron frying pans, so I can't say it never happens. When I specified places like Canadian Tire and the Bay there were no sets of cast iron.They were all sold individually. Nonstick pans were a different matter. There were several sets of those offered.
