I guess I am not the only one wondering about that. I am in Canada not
the US, not that it really matters much. It is the same basic market. I
googles cast iron frying pans and did come across one ad for a three pan
set of cast iron frying pans, so I can't say it never happens. When I
specified places like Canadian Tire and the Bay there were no sets of
cast iron.They were all sold individually. Nonstick pans were a
different matter. There were several sets of those offered.
New cast iron is basically Lodge, without many other options. I always
see Lodge cast iron sold individually. New pieces are more rough and
heavy than the good old brands, for whatever reason. I'd be surprised
if Lodge is even made in North America anymore.
