Simmering on the stove, browned Italian sausage in tomato sauce. Smells fantastic!

A friend got a mis-delivered order of breads from Walmart. They won't take it back but they didn't charge him for it, either. So he gave me a loaf of fresh French bread. I've cut it in half, wrapped it and put it in the freezer. I'll be making toasted garlic bread with the other half to go with the spaghetti & sauce.

Yes! It has been decided that todays dinner will be Sjömansbiff. It should last us 2 or 2.5 days, and is excellent now that we reached -2 C. One thing I'm really hoping for is potato pancakes, but the wife has got into her head that it is bad for her health.
My proposal is to cook some for me, and cook a small fish (salmon, most likely) for her, so both are happy.
This debate will continue until next sunday, so let's see who will be the winner! ;)
