I made a pot roast. Fifteen bucks for a ordinary pot roast slab, but itI got some dried mushrooms from Costco and cooked some up for a test.
tasted good. Here's my wife's plate. She should have wiped the gravy off
the edge. She had it again tonight.
Something I did different was to chuck a diced onion in the simmer.
I'll do it again. I think I liked the gravy better.

Dried mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms would have been better.
