Spurtles! Getcher spurtles here!

I've never been a fan of wooden spoons/utensils for
cooking. I just can't get into corners of bowls or
pots when using them. Lots of people wouldn't use
anything else, but give me metal or silicone utensils,
please.

That's what spurtles do. The are not rounded on the end like spoons so you *can* get into the corners. They're a heck of a deal, but only if one lives near a Menards, so you can get free ship to store. I have pans that I don't use metal in, and silicone is great for some things, but it's not rigid.
