Serves them right for *frying* a turkey on Thanksgiving. Hey, the rest
of the year, frying is OK, but for Thanksgiving you are supposed to
*roast* the turkey. These rich bastards could afford a huge house that
probably only a few people lived in, but they couldn't afford a fire
extinguisher.

Evidently those folks never saw the dozens of videos
of people burning down their house, garage, or deck.
It's been hammered into people heads for years if
you're going to deep fry a turkey, do it in the yard
or at least in the driveway, far away from the house.

Suffice to say, this will be a Thanksgiving they'll
NEVER forget.
It's idiotic to think you should deep fry a turkey in a garage. I seem to recall this from discussions about deep frying turkeys many years ago on RFC: aside from doing it outside away from buildings is the first thing they need to do is fill the fryer with water. Then dip something equal to the size and weight of the turkey into WATER in the the deep fryer, to determine the level of how much oil to add. You know, so you know it won't overflow when you use actual hot oil and lower the turkey into the fryer. It can be done, but most people probably shouldn't try it. I do notice Bryan is focusing on the fact that they are "rich bastards". Sour grapes?
