sweetened drinks. A little over a year ago I set out to cut out
unhealthy crap, my main goal saving money, like always, heh.

Since
then, not having time to cook for myself, and hardly eating for a
while, I'm down to ~160 pounds now. Greasy crap just upsets my
stomach now. I was hungry for a while, but got used to it.
That's how it goes. The body adjusts to a newer healthier weight. I
don't want to pry but the average height for males puts you pretty much
on target for weight.
I tried Chinese buffet again last month, but when you aren't used to
that food, it's just awful. I could barely stomach a plate and a
half, and I felt sick the rest of the day.
Looks like the choices didn't fit you now?
My appetite is far less
than it used to be, but I can still eat whatever I want, when I want,
unlike Keto. Breakfast this morning was a skillet of home fries with
olive oil (although it's usually butter). I love my carbs, yum!
And don't worry about it. When 'Total calorie intake = total calories
used' you stay stable. Watch Songbird. He eats more in summer when
he's expending a lot of energy on the garden. He seems to have
indicated (post some time back) that as the work drifts down, he just
naturally eats less. You may be shifting to that. It's a good way to
be, eating when hungry (or volume control based on hunger).
As you cut down eating, your stomach naturally shrunk. That's normal.
That's why one oversized meal made you not feel too good.
I love home fries in my trusty cast iron! Olive oil too but I add
butter as well. I'm going to dig through the freezer for the Duck and
make it up for the lovely fat! A splurge now and again, is good for
the soul.
Oh, here's an odd one. In winter, I crave fatty meats. That's just my
natural response to the cold. Buttered fish becomes a common dish.
