Good thing - those critters would certainly rock the boat.

the cow and pig can get along so well. Sometimes the pigs come down from
the mountain and hang around the other side of the fence in the parking
lot. The kids just love the pigs. They get across the highway by going
through the drainage tunnel. Well, that's what I've been told anyway.

It probably didn't end up a taco but was smoked, or turned into sausage,
or cooked in a pit. There's a lot of wild pigs in Hawaii. All you have
to do is catch it, kill it, cook it, and eat them up. They're considered
to be a pest but it's all cool as long as they stay up in the mountains
where they belong.

The weird thing about pigs is that a domestic pig can turn into a feral
pig after a short time in the wild. It's a physical change on a genetic
level. How strange is that? My guess is that a lot of wild pigs used to
be domestic pigs that escaped into the wild. That's a heck of a story
right there.
