He's not alone.
It's difficult to trim posts when you don't have a mouse to select
and delete text. That's why I rarely used to visit Google Groups
on my tablet back in the old days, and vanishingly rarely used it
to reply.
No excuse, of course. He chose the platform and its limitations.
