We have a lot of different languages spoken here - Vietnamese, Korean,
Filipino, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Samoan, Micronesian, and others
that I can't guess. We can hear it every day. Nobody gets insulted or
says stuff like "Speak English, this is America!"
A lot of people from the mainland are shocked and stunned by what they
see and hear when they get off the plane. They simply cannot understand
why everybody isn't speaking English. It's a tough idea for some people
to wrap their head around.
