Oh, had no idea it works with them! On the other hand, thinking about it, I am not surprised. =)
The ones in my experience, who get stung, are the people who become hysteric, jump around and try to hit the bee. They don't enjoy that, so they sting.
When I was a child, I used to pet bumble bees because I found them cute. I was walking around with them in my hands showing them to my parents, and they never stung. Very friendly creatures! I still like them!
