i do take some shortcuts but I learned to type and have written many

Whatever happened to two spaces after a period? That's the first thing I
had to abandon after switching to computers.
My typing sucks on iDevices.
I still do two spaces. I learned that in 1962 and see no reason to change. When printing a letter it still looks better.
When I text, it will automatically give me a space after a period and make the next letter a capital. Texting itself is an abbreviated form of communication, just a sentence or two. I have one exception to that, I send a text every day for a friend and it goes at 6:30PM. That may be a paragraph. Yes, there is a bit of a story behind it.
