A lot more of restaurants have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free
options so there will be something on the menu for people with
restrictive diets. That might be good for one or two visits but it
must be frustrating for them to have such limited choices.  There is
one local place we especially like that has a very eclectic menu with
international flavours. It has some Thai, Mexican, Indian, Japanese
and Korean dishes They have one or two gluten free and vegan dishes.
There is a world of variety for me and other people on regular diets
so I can have something different every time I go, but if you are
vegan or glucose intolerant you are stuck with the same limited
choices every time you go.

Yes and it's getting common to have 3 options of GF, Vegan and
Vegetarian around here.

For the GF burger, Portobella's to the rescue!  They use them as buns
(grin).  BTW if you didn't find Udi's in the freezer case, I'm told
it's the 5 star of GF bread products.  Pricy but good apparently.
