Did we maybe had the same Indian support worker. I called a couple
months ago to arrange for someone to come and repair a sliced cable. I
accidentally it with the weed wacker. He insisted I go through all
kinds of diagnostics. When I turned on the diagnostics is said no
signal. He had me select and another satellite and a make a couple other
changes. I had to disconnect the power and restart it a couple times.
Finally after about a half hour he said he would send a technician. The
technician came the next day. I told him what the problem was and took
him over and showed him the sliced cable. He spliced it and then checked
the signal and it was done. I spent more time indulging the telephone
support guy that it took the technician to repair it.
