I'll be steaming some broccoli florets to go with them.  And heating up
a sourdough roll, split then spread liberally with butter.

Anything cooking at your house this Tuesday night?

  no.

we were busy all day tuesday baking and cooking other things
and today was much the same along with dealing with the furnace
being replaced and someone coming over to visit.  it all worked
out ok in the end, but i was tired and needed a nap.

several hundred cookies, four peanut butter pies, brownie
muffins and blueberry muffins, grilled cheese sandwiches and
grilled ham and cheese sandwiches (of which one i made too
dark by accident, but in my defense i was interrupted way too
many times and i was happy enough with it to eat it for lunch
a bit later).

the microwave is over the oven, the oven was being used for
baking blueberry muffins, but it was also being used for heating
the house and then i was cooking on the coils for making the
grilled items...

i was also playing musical cars/vans with the HVAC people
removing the old furnace and bringing in the new one and then
Mom needing to go out for an appointment and coming back plus
the HVAC owner needing to run out for some filters and ...

alltogether a much more hectic day than i really enjoy but
we got through it.

this evening there wasn't a planned meal at all so i was
happy with a few cookies, a piece of good chocolate and
some roasted peanuts, and a few prunes just to make sure i
had something that had more fiber.
