It's funny how they seem to be another of those love them or hate then
ingredients. My wife and I like capers. I was surprised to hear from my
son that he really hates capers. Maybe it is a bit like anchovies. Some
people love them. Many see then as an essential ingredient in some
dishes. Then there are those who hate them.
the only thing i like anchovies in is Worsechesterchire sauce
and that's about it. otherwise nope, not interested. so far i've
never had capers in anything and enjoyed them. i like bitter
things so it's not the sharpness that gets me about them, i just
don't like 'em. i sure would not want them anywhere near a fish
dish. fish sticks are normally made from rather bland fish. i
don't mind that aspect since i don't much like really fishy things
anyways - yet once in a while i do like more fishy things so oh
well... i just don't like anchovies and really don't like them
messing up a pizza. blech. :)
