Decent chicken soup doesn't have water pasta in it.

What's 'water pasta'??

a likely transposition of pasta water...
No, it's pasta made with water instead of egg. Dried Italian
pasta is typically made with flour, water, and salt. Fresh
Italian pasta is typically made with flour, eggs, and salt.
Egg noodles are, of course, made with egg.
It's a matter of preference, and clearly Bryan's preference is
what we all should be doing.
