At work, I separate paper, cardboard, aluminum, and plastics for
recycling (no glass). Where I live, nothing is recycled. I'm told that
Pittsburgh barges all of its trash and recycling to China. The Chinese
probably only recycle what makes them money, from what doesn't fall into
the ocean, anyway.

The Chinese no longer takes trash from overseas anymore. They just got
tired of people sending them low quality/hazardous material. This was
quite a shock to the system. Beats me what they do with waste these
