No, but I had a room mate in college for a brief time. He was from Vietnam and recommended rats after harvest season. Apparently they eat the grain that is not harvested, and become very nice and juicy. I have not tried myself.
In Peru I think they eat guinea pigs. Apparently they are quite dry.
