I mainly use olive oil, butter, and bacon grease. Once in a great
while, peanut oil. My husband uses grapeseed oil for his THC capsules.
It takes him an eternity to go through a pint of it. Oh, yeah. He
uses Pam, which IIRC is soybean oil.

In the Seventies, I used to make PAM. At the time, it was pure lecithin,
probably from soybeans. I haven't checked lately.
I get "Pam for Grilling", which doesn't contain lecithin. I have
nothing against lecithin, but it's the stuff in Pam that creates a
residue on pans.
Ah, I see it's canola rather than soybean oil:
Ingredients. Canola Oil (Adds a Trivial Amount of Fat), Phosphated Mono-
and Diglycerides, Water. Also Contains Propellant to Dispense Spray.
