I went out to the barn to get my snow blower and the damned thing would
not start.  I gave up and figured it would wait until I was finished
shovelling and then it would start easily. While I was cleaning out
around the cars my neighbour was doing the lane and offered to clear the
rest of the parking area for me. I told him that now that we were done
the snow blower would start and that is exactly what happened. There is
probably some condensation in there that has frozen in the lines.  Once
it got warmed up it ran great.

Good thing I had a hefty breakfast this morning. We had some back bacon,
peameal, a fried egg and some buttermilk pancakes.   My wife is
intrigued by this pancake mix. She wondered how much oil and egg it
needs. None. Just add some water, about 4 parts mix to 3 parts water.
They are surprisingly good.

 Yesterday was gross.  Snow then rain then snow.  Looks like it totaled
about 3 inches.  I went out this morning and did the snowblowing on
nothing more than a bowl of oatmeal.  Now we're all set for the deep
freeze arriving tonight.  A couple days of lows around 0 F and highs
in the mid-teens.
